Nestled in the hills of the Pennsylvania Laurel Highlands, there is no place or people more dedicated to the protection and welfare of animals.  We are hard working folks with a common goal keeping in mind the "love of the breed".   Although this rescue is dedicated to English and French Bulldogs, we welcome all inquires as we work closely with other rescues and can assist with the surrender, rescue and care of all breeds!  We are located in PA, but are open to out of state adoptions if that "perfect fit" of a furever home is out there!  Things around here change daily so please visit us often!

Sweet Sophie !

ADOPTED !!!

She's part of a busy household that is still fostering and she can be quite gracious with her "visitors"  Thank you Tain and Bill she could have found a better home!

This little cutie petute came to us through the caring and selfless act of a wonderful lady in Kansas City that found out about this poor baby living her life as a victim, a puppy mill mom. This wonderful woman and her husband drove across two states to get her and bring her to their home to safety, and although it was painful to let her go they felt she would be best served to come to a rescue for help and to find that "perfect fit".                                                                                              (God bless you Heather and Allen!)

So her life changed forever and here she is! From Arkansas to Missouri to PA .  Think it's a fairy tale, well look at her Prince Charming and carriage that got her from her rescuing family to her rescue . . . Sophie in the arms of her Prince Charming (thank you Jamie). . . . .

who brought her in her fairy tale carriage . . .

yes, indeed, it is a fairy tale for this poor little abused girl.

She is doing well and is on the mend, but the mental healing takes time.  So hard on these mill mommas.  Here are a few pics of little sweet Sophie enjoying the good life.  Thank you for your donations to help with Sophie's vet bills!  She had a long and windy medical road with some complications due to her young age and many litters, but she is much better both physically and physically.  Sophie's adoption is pending as her foster mom cannot imagine life without her.
